High Hopes Farm is family owned and operated by the Rowe
family - Brian, Karen, Katlyn and Caleb. Both Brian and Karen were
backyard sugar makers in New Hampshire who continued their tradition
when they settled in Worthington, starting on a small scale and
using the syrup for their own use and giving it away to family and
friends.
Today, High Hopes Farm taps as many as 4,000 trees with
more than 20 miles of sap lines strung from tree to tree, bringing
the sweet sap by gravity to the sugar house. Once the sap is in the
storage tanks, it is transferred to a wood-fired evaporator which
produces the highest quality maple syrup
available.
